LETS GET STARTED

Important information to get started.

Trust us, we know that using a new framework can be a bit spooky.

We purpose built blaze to be incredibly easy to pick up and to truely power your workflow between both figma and webflow.

The first thing you should know, is that there is no wrong way to use the product.

Some projects will see you using a bunch of components, sections, styles etc - while other projects might just use fields, or a table from your Blaze library. The point is that once you have Blaze, you have a resource that can be used over and over, time and time again for simple quick utility items, to complete product design and development.

1. Duplicate Blaze before you start editing. Ensure you have a backup!
Please duplicate Blaze before you start work to ensure you always have a backup copy of the original files.
GETTING STARTED - Option 1

Starting with the empty style document

One option you have when using blaze is to start building your custom project using our empty style document. Basically this document contains only class (css) styles, without all the elements that come with the core product.

This means that you can very quickly start dragging in containers, sections and other elements with the blaze styles already set up.

Learn how to access the empty style document. Download it here
Included in the Blaze package is a version that contains only the class styles without the pre-built utility or components.
This works great for new project builds, where you can paste components and use the styles without needing to remove pages when ready to launch (such as this one)
GETTING STARTED - Option 2

Starting from the original product

Duplicate the Blaze before you start editing. Ensure you have a backup!

that doesn't get impacted by style changes that may occur during your development process.
